The general topic of the workshops was Aristotle’s philosophy of nature, very broadly conceived, but in some years the group tackles Aristotle’s ethical and political works.

The program aimed to give graduate students from different academic backgrounds the opportunity to collaborate closely and intensively with one another in an atmosphere that is more informal and relaxed than regular seminars during the academic year. The 2023 summer workshop on Aristotle took place for a week at the University of the Aegean, Syros, Greece.
