Four experts will gather to discuss the global refugee crisis on Thursday, September 28, at the Woodrow Wilson School of Public and International Affairs. The panel will include: Deborah Amos, a Ferris Professor of Journalism and NPR News correspondent; Yannis Behrakis, a Pulitzer Prize-winning photojournalist and chief photographer with Reuters; Rafaela Dancygier, an associate professor of politics and international affairs; and Joe Stephens, a Ferris Professor of Journalism in Residence and Washington Post investigative reporter.

Stanley Katz, lecturer with rank of professor of public and international affairs and director of the Center for Arts and Cultural Policy Studies, will moderate the discussion.

This event will coincide with an art exhibition of the same name, which features photographs by Behrakis.

Co-sponsored by the Humanities Council’s Ferris Seminars in Journalism and the Seeger Center for Hellenic Studies, with the support of the Paul Sarbanes ’54 Fund for Hellenism and Public Service.
