We will be reading Lawrence Venuti’s “Translation and the Pedagogy of Literature” (1996) and selected chapters from Approaches to Teaching the Works of Ovid and the Ovidian Tradition (ed. Weiden Boyd & Fox, 2010) that touch on different issues of translation. Readings can be found here.

Lunch will be provided but please RSVP to Eileen Robinson.

Though we hope for participants’ regular attendance, we encourage everyone in the Princeton community who is interested in a given session’s topic to attend.
