Molly Greene, Professor of History and Hellenic Studies, has been awarded the first Center for Digital Humanities Data Fellowship co-sponsored by Princeton’s Seeger Center for Hellenic Studies. Greene’s project will map the Pindus mountain range during the Ottoman period.

The new partnership between the CDH and the Seeger Center is intended to support scholars interested in learning the analytical and technological practices of working with humanities data that aligns with the mission of the Seeger Center, which supports teaching and research on the Greek world from antiquity to the present.

During this three-year pilot program, there will be a limited number of Data Fellowships available for co-sponsorship. Research that is interdisciplinary in nature with a focus on advancing Hellenic studies through collaboration with the CDH will be considered during the regular CDH grant cycle.

Princeton faculty, staff, postdoctoral fellows, and graduate students from any discipline are eligible to apply.
