The Seeger Center extends warm congratulations to George Callanan, Class of 2025, on his graduation from Princeton.

An economics major, George is the first undergraduate to be awarded the new minor in Hellenic studies.

Nikos Panou, senior lecturer in the Stanley J. Seeger ‘52 Center for Hellenic Studies and associate director for teaching, learning, and public service, taught Callanan "Advanced Modern Greek.” 

“George was an enthusiastic, committed and hard-working student. He was studying economics, but his interest in modern Greek language and culture is genuine and deeply rooted,” said Panou.
