The Princeton University Symphony Orchestra in Greece
The Princeton University Symphony Orchestra, founded in 1896, is the premier symphony orchestra of the University and one of the most renowned and recognized symphony orchestras in the United States. The orchestra performs a wide range of repertoire from classical to contemporary works. Conductor Michael Pratt has served as its Music Director since 1977. With the participation of over one hundred and twenty undergraduate musicians, the orchestra performs eight annual concerts in Alexander Hall as well as international tours every two years. In 2025, the orchestra chose Greece for its tour and will give three concerts.
