Application for Assistant, Associate, or Full Professor in Ancient Greek History *Revised*
The Department of Classics at Princeton University announces a tenure-track or tenured position at the rank of Assistant, Associate, or Full Professor in Ancient Greek History, starting in Fall 2025. Applications are welcome from candidates in any area of research related to the ancient Greek world from approximately 1200 BCE to 300 CE. We seek to identify a candidate who has an excellent track record or has demonstrated exceptional promise as a scholar and teacher, whose research interests complement those already represented among departmental faculty, and who can help us expand and diversify our offerings. The successful candidate will be able to teach a range of undergraduate courses in Archaic, Classical, and Hellenistic History, as well as ancient Greek, and a graduate course in theory and methods. Engagement with the Program in the Ancient World and the Seeger Center for Hellenic Studies is expected.
