Modern Greek literary translation and the arts have always had an important place at the Seeger Center. In Athens, the Center is a new home to grow an engaged, transatlantic audience that concentrates on contemporary work in Greece and brings the best of Princeton’s artists and writers to Athens.

Events have included musical evenings with the neighbors, readings by Edmund Keeley, as well as others, and screenings including by avant-garde filmmaker, and Princeton faculty member, Su Friedrich. The Center’s small gallery space can host select micro exhibitions.
